Linc Lends a Hand To Fight Cancer
In September 2015, Linc Hand attended an event in Birmingham, AL, and helped organizers of The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation raise funds to further Gynecologic Cancer Research at UAB Hospital. In the film “42,” Linc Hand plays Fritz Ostermueller, a veteran pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates who isn’t happy about Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier. While Hand plays a bad guy in the movie, he was anything but bad guy Friday morning while visiting patients at Children’s on 3rd Outpatient Center in Birmingham.

The Linc Hand Scholarship for 2013 Awarded to Alexis Gravlee
Linc is very proud to have a scholarship for acting in his name from his hometown Corner High School to help benefit young actors and actresses in the CORNER THEATRE Academy. Linc says, “Dreams can come true if you find a way to do hard things.” Linc is also an alumnus of University of North Alabama.
“42” Movie Premiere in Birmingham
Linc Hand personally attended the premiere of “42” at the Carmike 16 Summit Cinemas in Birmingham, Alabama on April 11th, one day before the national release of the movie. Here is a photo from the event with Linc 3rd from the left and his proud mother, Edie Hand standing right behind him.
